This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. CT3 Hunter Fixed Blade knife utilizes a 4" 'Big Belly' Bowie blade with a plain edge, swedge and 3.8mm (0.15") thickness. Stamped with pattern number CT HUNTER 1095 CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a Black finish.Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The handle is textured Orange G-10 with integrated finger guard and lanyard hole. It's around 8 1/4 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 5.1 ounces.
