Perfect Example

Single blade Buffalo Horn Jig Barlow. Blade is perfectly center. No gapping on the back. Has fantastic walk and talk. Nice strong pull and snap both open and shut. Buffalo horn looks great.

Ran the edge on a strop to get the burr off and the blade is nice and sharp bites my nail just fine.

Cleaned out the pivot with some vodka then re-lubed with food grade mineral oil.

There was maybe two (tiny) spots of horn that had a little bite to them around the pins on the handle scales, but I hit them with some super fine sandpaper then waxed them up. Smooth and shiny!

This will be a perfect gift for my dad's birthday.

I've sent back several case knives for warranties, one knife twice before they got it right. But this is a prime example of a perfect Case knife. So far I haven't got a bad Case knife yet from this distributor.

A good Case Buffalo Horn Barlow

Case did this one write. No gaps, the blade is centered and the jigging didn't hit the horn fibers.
