This CIVIVI Knives Vision FG Superlock knife utilizes a 3 5/8" Locking Reverse Tanto blade with a plain edge, flat grind, 3mm(0.12") thickness, thumb studs, and a finger choil. The blade material is Damascus Steel. Damascus Steel is made by forging & folding together hundreds of layers of hard & soft steel, and then etching them with acid. The acid dissolves the layers at different rates resulting in a visible pattern on the steel. The alternating layers give more flexibility & toughness to the steel, and the hard & soft in the edge act much like micro-serrations that aid cutting. The contoured handle is Black Canvas Micarta with a Superlock, weight reduction milling, and a reversible tip-up pocket clip/lanyard hole. It's around 4 3/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 4.1 ounces. Handcrafted in China, this knife comes complete with Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty, a Storage Pouch and Microfiber Cleaning Cloth....
