Description

This KA-BAR Knives, Inc. Mark 1 Fixed Blade knife utilizes a 5 1/8" Clip Point blade with a flat grind, straight edge, swedge, 90-degree spine edge and 4mm(0.165") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel (56-58HRC) with a Black Epoxy Powder-coat finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The contoured handle is soft-textured Black Kraton G with carbon steel finger guard and hammer pommel. It's around 9 1/8 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 7.6 ounces. Mastercrafted in the U.S.A. , this knife comes complete with Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty and a Black Hard Plastic MOLLE Belt Sheath.
