Sprint Run! Big Brown Bear' Steel Treatment! This Spyderco Knives Manix 2 Ball Bearing Lock knife utilizes a 3 3/8" Locking Spear Point blade with a plain edge, full-flat grind, 3.2mm thickness, finger choil, thumb ramp jimping, and thumb hole. The blade material is CPM 15V Carbon Steel with a satin finish and Shawn Houston's "Triple B" specialized heat-treatment. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The contoured handle is textured Brown FRCP with ambidexterious sliding ball-bearing lock, finger groove/guard, lanyard hole, and reversible tip-up pocket clip. It's around 4 5/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.9 ounces.
