Description

This Kershaw Knives Livewire OTF knife utilizes a 3 3/4" Locking Tanto blade with a plain edge and 3.2mm (0.13") thickness. The blade material is CPM Magnacut Stainless Steel (62-64HRC) with a Black-oxide Blackwash finish. The handle is textured Black Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum with a spine-fired slide-release button and reversible tip-down Cerakote pocket clip. It's around 4 7/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 3.0 ounces. PayPal is restricted for this product.

A nearly perfect EDC OTF

The Kershaw Livewire has an excellent OTF action and is well built. However, difficulty with pocket retrieval kept me from giving it five stars. The small, tight, pocket clip combined with minimal traction jimping on the upper and lower rear of the handle made retrieval unreliable for me even when wearing thin nylon slacks. I will look for an after-market pocket clip to hopefully improve this.
