This Benchmade, Inc. Mini Freek knife utilizes a 3 " Locking Drop Point blade with a plain edge, 2.9mm thickness, thumb ramp and thumb studs. The blade material is CPM M4 Carbon Steel with Black DLC coating.Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The contoured handle is Black & Gray G10 with a reversible tip-up pocket clip, Axis lock and lanyard hole.
