Full Tang Construction! Compadre Froe Knife! This Buck Knives Compadre Froe Fixed Blade knife utilizes a 10" Cleaver/Machete blade with a plain edge, 6mm thickness, fire-striker spine and lanyard hole. The blade material is 5160 Carbon Steel with BOS heat-treatment and Black Cobalt Cerakote coating. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The contoured handle is Natural Canvas Micarta. It's around 17 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 1 pound(s) 8.5 ounces. This knife comes complete with a Black Leather Sheath w/ Steel Hoop.
