The Work Sharp Culinary E5 Upgrade Kit adds versatility to the E4, E5-NH, E5, and Professional Kitchen Electric (sold separately) with 15� and 20� sharpening guides, and specialty sharpening belts optimized to create traditional East and West edge profiles. The E5 Upgrade Kit includes 4 types of belts: (1) Blue ZA Coarse belt, (2) Red P120 Medium belts, (1) Grey X35 Fine belt, and (1) White X4 Extra-Fine belt. Each belt is part of a sharpening "recipe" with corresponding angle guides to sharpen traditional East and West edges. The abrasive belts are formulated, designed, and made for precision sharpening of high-strength steels. The grit symmetry, spacing, and backing flexibility are all designed to produce the optimal convex edge with minimal heating or material takeoff. If you�ve ever used a belt sander to sharpen, you know hot quickly the steel heats and how much excess material can be removed if you aren�t careful. Our abrasives are a key component of our success in the sharpening world. Includes additional guide storage.
