Shortly after Mr. Ruple joined with Case I was fortunate to get one of his first Case axe handle knives. At the time I recall thinking that it was rather plain in appearance viewed lying in the storeโs display case. However when it was handed to me it felt nothing like plain. A careful examination of the knife confirmed that it was in fact a product of the fine craftsman at Case. My introduction to Case knives was by way of a gift from my grandfather. His admonition was donโt lose it too soon. He needed not to worry. I think I even slept with that thing under my pillow, ha ha! The tooth fairy was in for a shock that year to find something far greater than the two bits I got for the tooth. Fun memories of a fun tool. The tooth fairy gave me my last reward for a tooth that summer but I was given something far more valuable; an appreciation for the value of quality.

One of Only 200 Made! Bill Ruple Collaboration! One of only 200 made! This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Axe Handle Lockback knife utilizes a 3 3/8" Locking Clip blade with a plain edge, flat taper grind, and a nail nick. Stamped with pattern number B.R.1012024 154CM, the blade material is 154CM Stainless Steel with a Satin finish. The handle is smooth Marbled Black Carbon Fiber with a Satin Stainless Steel Arrowhead Inlay shield. The liners and integrated bolsters are one-piece of milled Stainless Steel. It's around 4 3/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 4.2 ounces. Mastercrafted in the U.S.A. , this knife comes complete with Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty and a Soft Suede Leather Storage Pouch.
