Description

This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Trapper knife utilizes a 3 1/4" Clip blade and 3 1/4" Wharncliffe blade. Stamped with pattern number 7254 DAM, the blade material is Damascus Carbon Steel. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The handle is smooth Natural Maple Burl Wood with a Nickel Silver Bowtie CASE Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. It's around 4 1/8 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 3.8 ounces.
