W.R. Case XX Knives Copperlock Gator Jig Persimmon Orange Bone 38072 Carbon Steel Pocket Knife
Description
This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Copperlock knife utilizes a 3 1/4" Locking Wharncliffe blade. Stamped with pattern number 61549WL CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The handle is Gator Jig Persimmon Orange Bone with a Nickel Silver CASE Bowtie Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. It's around 4 1/4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 3.0 ounces.
