Description

Bill Ruple Design! This W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Axe Handle knife utilizes a 3 3/8" Locking Clip blade with a plain edge, flat taper grind, and a nail nick. Stamped with pattern number BR61135 CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The handle is Gator Jig Persimmon Orange Bone with a Nickel Silver CASE Bowtie Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. It's around 4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.9 ounces.
