Garish. Overbuilt. Hand Tank.! Full-Tang Construction! This KA-BAR Knives, Inc. Slabby Fixed Blade knife utilizes a 6 7/8" Clip Point blade with a flat grind, straight edge, swedge, fuller, 90-degree spine edge and 4.8mm(0.1875") thickness. The blade material is 1095 Cro-Van Carbon Steel(56-58HRC) with a Black finish. (Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.) The contoured handle is smooth Black GFN with carbon steel finger guard and hammer pommel. It's around 12 1/8 inches long (total) and weighs approximately 14 ounces. Mastercrafted in the U.S.A. , this knife comes complete with Limited Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty , a Black Hard Plastic Sheath with Thumb Lock and Safety.
