The blade material is CPM M4 Carbon Steel with a Cobalt Black Cerakote finish and 62-64HRC hardness.Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly. The contoured handle is smooth Bead-blasted 6AL4V Titanium (manufactured in the USA) with an ambidextrous Axis lock, Blue PVD coated hardware, jimping for a secure grip, Crater Blue anodized aluminum lanyard slot, and a reversible tip-up deep-carry pocket clip.
